Welcome, Moderator, to your guide

Firstly, this guide is meant for new moderators who ahve recently been approved worthy for taking care of our servers. If you are not a moderator, you are in the wrong place. Below are most of the information you will need as a moderator. Since I get pretty much a lot of questions a day from you guys, I decided to write what I think you will need right here

Q: What do I need to do as a Moderator?

A: The short answer is you will need to make sure the server you're in is going smooth. What I mean by this is you try to stop fights, you mute people who people complain about talking too much, and you kick people who are bad for the server. However, only kick when you absolutely have to. And if possible, report to me before you do so (hopefully by now you realise "me" is Boomslang). Basically, you improvise according to the situation. Do whatever benefits the server, and eliminate all problems where possible. Of course, our admins would appreciate it if you stay on the server for as long as possible.

Q: What commands do I have as a Moderator?

A: Since there are quite a few, I will list them below in two categories; necessary ones, and "fun" ones. Please note you will need to get used to using the "/" in front of a command instead of "!". The slash will hide the command, and stop people from trying to type in the same command expecting noclip. Trust me, I have been through a lot of it.

    Moderator commands:

-"/vote ["question"] [answer] [answer] [answer]". This command is used to initiate a custom vote. For instance, typing /vote "Boomslang is so sexy" yes no "he isn't" will ask that question, and show the following answers for players to pick from. Note I only use the quotation marks when the statement consists of more than one word.

-"/kick [player] [reason]". This kick command will kick the players accordingly with the reason you specified. You do not need to leave a reason, and you do not need to type in the entire player's name. Only part of the name would do. Again, as for all commands, use quotation marks if what you are typing in is more than one word. In this case, if your reason is "you are gay", type in the quotation marks. Or else the reason will be shown as "you". (Of course, I do not expect you to kick people for that reason. I am simply being humerous here)

-"/slay". This command works the same way as kick, except you can not enter a reason. Only use ths if you have to

-"/mute". This works the same way as slay

   Fun commands:

-"/resize [player] [size from 0.1-3.0]. This will resize the specified player to the specified size. 1 is normal. The rest, see for yourself. DO NOT use this command unless there are only a few people, and all of the are mainly chilling. DO NOT use this in the middle of combat. In fact, it is appreciated you do not use this at all.

-"/colorize [player] [colour]". This colours the player

-"/beacon [player]". Tells the world where you are, as if you are a living beacon.

Q: Can I use "!" instead of "/"?

A: Sure, if you want 23 other people typing the same thing you just did begging you for stuff. It happened to me, and it will happen to you if you do not listen to me.

Q: Can I become Admin?

A: No, because if you could, you would already have been promoted to one. Ask this, and get kicked from your rank

Q: How do you make a server?

A: I paid money to get it. As for "making" it, I had to configure a lot of things up in similar ways I did onmy dedicated local server. If you do not know what a dedicated server is, you should not even be asking this question

Q: Where do I type my commands?

A: You type that in your chat box. (Or the console if you know how to, but the chat is way easier)
